Make plans to come out and see Charlotte’s Web 6p.m. Friday at DHS.  The theater department is presenting Charlotte’s Web Dinner Theater this Friday with a spaghetti supper in the cafeteria at 6 p.m. and then the presentation of Charlotte’s Web after the meal.

ENCOURAGE SUMMER!  Wear yellow on Thursday, May 16 to support Summer Henley. If you wear yellow on May 16, you will be called down to take a picture as a group.  The picture will be sent to Summer to encourage her!  You may wear a school appropriate yellow shirt with or without a collar Thursday.

A big shout out to Alejandra Quezada!  She came up with the idea to honor Summer Henley and to support her in her battle against cancer by wearing yellow, the color representing bone cancer.  Thank you, Alejandra, for exhibiting true Dumas Demon spirit!

Students: If you are going to take Driver’s Education Classes this summer you need to get your Verification Of Enrollment forms during the last 2 weeks of school.  You can contact Tonie if you are interested in taking the June or July classes.  Call Tonie at 806-318-8276 to setup a time to pre register or they can register at 8 AM June 7.

ATTENTION ATHLETES!!  You must fill out paperwork for next year online.  The online forms can be found at  www.rankonesport.com    If you are going to be lifting weights in the summer program, you must do the online paperwork and have a current physical before you start.  Click the yellow box at the top of the page to get to the paperwork.

If you’re interested in entering the Cowboy Classic Queen contest, applications are in the Counselor’s Office. They are due in by May 20th. You may bring them back to the Counselor’s Office or give to Mr. Kelley. Remember you have to be able to ride a horse. Judging will be on interviews as well as horsemanship. You must also be a upcoming sophomore or junior.

If you are planning to take your driving test this summer, YOU MUST get a VOE form in the front office.

If you are interested in being Danny Demon, the Dumas High School Mascot, for the 2019-2020 school year, please contact Coach Arenas or Coach Sheldon before May 20, 2019.

Moore County Family Health Clinic (at 110 S. Bliss) is still going to offer free physicals to students, they will just need to go between the hours of 8am to 9am.
